Counselling is a helping approach that allows you to discuss your stressful, or emotional difficulties in a safe and confidential space. The process is individually designed to help you address your concerns, become more self-aware and learn effective coping strategies.

 

The process involves a partnership between you and a trained therapist who has the desire and willingness to support you to reach your individual goals – whether they are to change something in your life, or to gain a deeper understanding of your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. The overall experience can be life changing. .

 

What to expect from a session.

Our Counsellor, Joy, starts by going through the medical history and consent forms.  What Counselling is and your expectation from the treatment will be discussed.

 

Throughout the session, the Counsellor engages you in conversation with the purpose of guiding and supporting you towards your desired goal.

 

As some subjects discussed can be sensitive and unpleasant, by going through the process, your Counsellor will help you achieve the best possible results.
