Massage Therapy

What is Clinical Massage Therapy?

Clinical Massage therapy takes into account of your clinical diagnosis as a part of your treatment plan. Therapist providing Clinical Massage will have to have extensive and well-rounded training and understanding in physical anatomy and physiology, and often working together with your Chiropractor and/or Physiotherapist.

Sports Massage Therapy

What is Sports Massage Therapy?

Sports Massage Therapy incorporates many different manual therapy techniques, including deep tissue massage, active release technique, trigger point, myofascial release, soft tissue manipulation and joint gapping. These techniques target the muscles, fascia, ligaments and joints, alleviating chronic or acute pain. This results in improved movement, and a better quality of life overall.

Prenatal Massage Therapy

What is Prenatal Massage Therapy?

Our therapist has the relevant anatomy training to understand the pregnant body and modify your massage treatment to suit the needs at each trimester. Maternity pillows are also provided so you can lie down and relax during your treatment.

At UP!health, our Massage Therapist Petra Rauzsen provides all above types of Massage therapy. To read more about her and her experiences, please see her bio here.
